Dubai: Considering the current regional situation, India’s Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the postponement of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations that were scheduled to be held on Monday, March 2, across seven Middle East countries.

The decision applies to students in the UAE, Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. New dates will be announced later.

CBSE stated that it will review the situation on Tuesday, March 3, and take necessary decisions regarding the examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards.
“All students are advised to remain in regular contact with their schools for updates and to carefully follow official announcements,” CBSE said in an official notification issued through social media on Sunday.
The new announcement came hours after CBSE dismissed a fake circular that had widely circulated on social media, falsely claiming that certain board examinations for Middle East students had been cancelled.
