
Dubai: A massive fire broke out near Dubai International Airport following a drone attack. Authorities said the blaze started after the drone struck a fuel tank in the area.

The Dubai Media Office confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident. Officials added that teams from Dubai Civil Defence were working at the site to bring the fire under control.

Following the incident, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority temporarily suspended services at the airport to ensure the safety of passengers and staff. Authorities advised passengers to contact their respective airlines for further information.
In a telephone conversation, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that Iran’s continued attacks pose a threat to security in the region.
Meanwhile, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani also spoke with the UAE President over the phone. Reports said the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region and the prevailing security situation.
